Nalanda International Conference Concludes with Awards and Cultural Program

Bihar (Nalanda) /  An international conference involving representatives from SAARC countries and South Asian governments concluded successfully in Nalanda. The event featured policy discussions, followed by a special evening cultural program with performances by artists from SAARC nations.
During the program, several distinguished individuals were honored for their outstanding contributions. Life Time Award 2025 was presented to Dr. Sarita Budhu, Padma Shri Dr. J. K. Singh, Dr. Brajanandan Kumar Sinha, and Dr. Sushmita Pandey.
Under the Nalanda International Achievers Award, 21 eminent personalities, including four journalists from Bangladesh, were honored. Similarly, the Bihar Gaurab Award was conferred on 51 individuals, including the ‘Gold Man of India’ Prem Singh.
On the second day, delegates from SAARC countries visited the historic ruins of the thousand-year-old ancient Nalanda University.

Five senior journalists from Bangladesh also participated in the conference, including Mustaq Ahmed Mubaraki (Editor, Dainik Bangabani and former Director, BSS), Mohammad Moniruzzaman (Editor, Dainik Bank Bima Economise), and Kazi Habib Ullah (Chief Reporter, The Morning News).
