Kathmandu- A new book titled Siyo Dhago by human rights activist and youth campaigner Pradeep Pariyar is set to be published. The book, which will be released by FinePrint, presents Pariyar’s intellectual journey, experiences, knowledge, and various life events in a detailed and thoughtful manner.

Born in Sindhuli and currently based in Lalitpur, Pariyar has long been active in the fields of human rights, youth leadership, and Dalit rights. He was part of the core drafting team responsible for Nepal’s first National Youth Policy and also served as the elected former president of AYON (Association of Youth Organizations Nepal), a network of youth organizations. Pariyar has also played a leading role as the executive chairperson of Samata Foundation, which focuses on Dalit rights and social justice issues. He is currently active as the director of Dalit Lives Matters Nepal.

As part of his work in promoting human rights and social justice, Pariyar has traveled to more than 20 countries around the world. In 2020, he was also selected as a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum. Both the author and publisher believe that Siyo Dhago, born from years of social activism and lived experiences, will spark new discussions among Nepali readers and further encourage the country’s reading culture.
