More Than 250 Saplings Planted in the School Premises

Banke / Nepalgunj At Shree Bal Shiksha Secondary School, Bharaiya, more than 250 saplings of Amla, Jackfruit, Moringa , Guava and lemon were planted under the leadership of Mr. Basu Gautam, President of Lumbini World Peace Forum, with financial support from Jyoti Bikas Bank and in collaboration with 8 Billion Trees team.

At the request of the school principal, Respected Mr. Tarka Khatri, Green Hement joined the program to lead the plantation campaign. The event witnessed active participation of students, teachers, parents, employees of Jyoti Bank, and local residents.

On the occasion, the Planting Director of 8 Billion Trees emphasized the importance of tree plantation. He highlighted that fruit trees are gradually disappearing and planting has become essential to preserve them. He also expressed a commitment to financially support the “Earning While Learning” campaign, helping students become self-reliant while promoting an eco-friendly lifestyle.

President Basu Gautam remarked that tree plantation is not only for environmental protection but also a mission to inspire future generations toward greenery and a clean lifestyle.

Similarly, Mr. Manoj Bhandari, Cluster Head of Jyoti Bikas Bank, stated, “It is not only important to plant trees, but also to protect them. At a time when pollution and global warming are increasing, tree plantation has become extremely essential.”

Principal Khatri mentioned that such programs provide great motivation for students to practice environmentally friendly behavior.

On the occasion, participants pledged their continued support to make the school greener.
